A STORY FROM QUARANTINE
I still remember the first day when my university told us to do Learn From Home (LFH). At first, me and my friends, and absolutely all students in this world were very excited LOL. That was in early March I guess. I remember how people were panicked back then because of this corona virus. Every day, people always talked about this virus. Television, news, and social media. But for now, after almost 3 months we do social distancing, government has finally begun to implement new normal which means all workers can work again to restore the socioeconomic state. New normal is also define as adaptions to familiarize yourself to behave clean and healthy life. But that's only for the worker I guess. Because we, students, are still do LFH. They said that it's too risk to start open the school and the university. So I don't know when I can go to my university again.
Beside those activity, I also feel bored after doing the same activity every day. Like what I have told you before, sometimes I just lost my spirit. Study alone in a long period of time didn't suit me. When I studied with my friends back then in the classroom, it felt more fun. We could interact with each other, and shared our thoughts. Now that we do the distance learning, all exercises and tasks are did by us alone. I just worried if I couldn't socialize with my friends later after schools and universities are opened.
I am not sure if I really enjoy this LFH or not. Because sometimes I am glad that I can do everything I haven't did before. But at some point, I also hate this situation. I feel like I don't have any goals in my life, don't know what to do everyday, and I also think that I haven't done anything useful in my life. But still, we can't blame ourselves. Rather than blaming, I try to enjoy my life right now, and slowly began to think and prepare what I want to do in my life. And for now, I want to share my story during quarantine with you. It's about my favorite activity at home, and why sometimes I hate doing LFH.
Well, I want to talk about my plants first. I have several plants in my house. I realize that some of them had withered because I never take care of them due to my lecture. To prevent all of my plants from wilting, I started to take care of them during LFH. I searched for each type of my plant about how to take care of them. After watering them, pulled out the weeds around my plants, and moved them to a new pot, now my plants looks more prettier. I could see the growth of leaves from my plants and new shoots around the plants. And what's the most impressing me is, flowers bloom from my sansevieria. It only blooms at night. Wow, I never thought that sansevieria has flowers before. It's sooo pretty.

During quarantine, I found out that I ate too much. To avoid my body getting larger, I try to do some workout. But after 3 days, I didn't satisfied with the result. I thought it was just made muscle in my body. And then I found this pilates. Based on source that I read, pilates can improve posture so that our body will looks taller, and also it can shape the body. So I start to find a beginner pilates on youtube, and after tried several videos, I found the one that suits me. It named 'Jessica Valant Pilates'. She really explained about pilates clearly for beginner videos, and it helped me a lot. Now I am starting to do the intermediate pilates in her video. And for the result, I found that my legs were became slimmer than before, and I felt more healthier.
I also spend my day by reading books that I haven't completed yet. Having a lot of spare time during LFH makes me have more time to read, and now I have a new habit while reading. I need to listen to instrumental music while reading so that I can be more focus on my book. Reading a book while listening to instrumental music really calms me down. After I finished my books, I searched for e-books in openlibrary.org. This site provides various kinds of books which in my opinion are very complete because every book I want to read is available here. This site works like a library. So we need to sign up, and then we can borrow the books. The time of borrowing the books is 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, then the book will be remove from our loan list. But we can still loan it again. So far I had borrowed Matilda, Of Thee I Sing, and The Story of Tracy Beaker. I'm so excited after found this site because I could save my money from buying them. And for your information, this site is legal.

By the way this is the end of my second semester, and on August, I will be in third semester, and of course I am still doing learn from home. I hope we all can do this well together, and finished this semester well too. This may become a historical story in my life because when I was child, I once thought of getting a full year of holiday and no need to come to school. I think half of my childhood dream became true, at least I don't need to come to the university. For you guys outside, who ever dreamed of getting a full year of holiday, now you get it.
